Notable Coaching/Rugby involvements

·       Awarded MacPhail Scholarship ( June 2013)

(This was a 3 week experience within the NZ Canterbury Crusaders Rugby Culture and success story working with the management, coaches, players and reaping tremendous knowledge about their culture, systems and processes )

·       As Head Coach gained promotion for Aberdeen Grammar Rugby into Scottish Premiership in 2010/11, secured top 8 finish in 2011/12 and secured 5th place (1 point away from top 4 and British and Irish Cup) in 2012/13

·       Scottish Rugby Specialist Skills Coach (2012 - Attack)

·       Completed the “Grand Slam” of U-18 wins against England, France, Wales, Ireland and Italy during my period of involvement.

·       Liaison Officer for Tonga 2012

·       Liaison Officer for Samoa 2010

·       Shadowed the National team preparation and delivery in Aberdeen to play Canada (2008/2009)

·       National Coach of the Year ( 2004/2005)

·       Recorded 6 successive promotions as Head Coach of Ellon RFC (1998-2004)
