Aberdeenshire Quines Womens Rugby Football Club were formed in 1994, and started in Division 4 of the SWRU National Leagues. The Quines quickly moved up the leagues and, since gaining their place in Division 1, have never been relegated.

In 2002 the Quines merged with Aberdeen University WRFC in order to strengthen Aberdeen's representation in the National League and Cup competitions, and to give students the opportunity to play in Division 1. Aberdeen University WRFC still holds a strong position in the University Leagues, played on a Wednesday.

Over the past ten years the Quines have had a remarkable track record of representation in the various international squads. This has included various Scotland age groups to full International, Scottish Universities and the German national team. We are very proud of our girls who are selected for representative honours in an increasingly competitive sport, and wish them all luck.

During the season matches take place on a Sunday afternoon with training on Monday and Friday's at 6:30, Woodside Sports Complex.
